Best Gift I’ve Ever Given

The best gift I’ve ever given was a template. It took me 5 hours to construct it, and after I uploaded it on a forum, it was received with enthusiasm. A three-column template with customizable themes, it was a wide success,and I was really proud, until Blogger decided to change the format from Classic to New-Modern, rendering my template 100% obsolete.

Athletics Response

Sometimes, I think that the concept is biased. If the kid is athletically gifted, my applause for it. But its a inborn gift, so I don’t think that they deserve a scholarship. I mean, there are so many people born with athletic ability, but why does it give them the right to have a scholarship. After all, while America’s education department is lacking, we have already a lot of “gifted” atheletes, thank you.

Chess players, on the other hand, are generally more gifted and hard work. But I hate the word gifted. These people are hard-working people who have actually tried to succeed in their education. Shouldn’t they get a scholarships?

So, by my opinion, America should focus less on athletics and more on education. It’s logic, right?

Advertising

I think advertising is a smart, efficient way to increase sales for the product. However, I sometimes hear that they are aimed at kids, and that it’s very underhanded and deceitful. I don’t feel that way. I find that only products that kids use are aimed at them, and I find them reasonable. If you were the company, would you do that? I mean, I wouldn’t try to advertise a toy to a adult. It just doesn’t make sense. To prove my point, I’ve never seen a furniture advertisment aimed at kids. NEVER. So if the companies pay, it’s no big deal. At least we can ignore them.
